NEW PRINCIPAL ANNOUNCEMENT
     St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School is pleased to announce that Arthur Moore has accepted the position of Principal, effective June 13, 2012. Mr. Moore served as Vice Principal at Grafton High School, as well as the Director of the Taylor County Technical Center, for the past two years. He also previously served as the Vice Principal at Taylor County Middle School. Prior to his roles in school administration, Mr. Moore was a physical education teacher, head coach and assistant athletic director for ten years. He has experience teaching at all grade levels, Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
     Mr. Moore holds a Master of Education degree from Cambridge University in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his teaching degree from West Virginia University. As a graduate of Bishop Donahue Catholic High School in McMechen, West Virginia, Mr. Moore is a product of Catholic education within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. He also attended Catholic elementary and middle schools.
      Mr. Moore and his wife, Kelly, and their three year old daughter, Amber, currently reside in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Kelly is a teacher at Anna Jarvis Elementary School in Taylor County. Mr. Moore and his family are members at All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport.
      St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic School will continue to provide a strong, Catholic academic program under the direction and leadership of Arthur Moore. Please extend Mr. Moore and his family a warm welcome to our school community.
