DRESS-UP CODE
Boys:
Shirts: The boys are to wear a shirt with a collar. It must be a shirt that is “church appropriate.” No sleeveless shirts.
Pants-Dress pants or dress shorts that come to the knee (walking shorts). No athletic pants, athletic shorts or denim. If the shorts or pants have belt loops, a belt is to be worn.
Shoes-No flip-flops or backless shoes or any kind.
Girls:
Dresses/Skirts-All dresses or skirts are to be knee length. NO mini-skirts/skorts of any kind are to be worn. No spaghetti straps, tube tops, belly shirts, off-the-shoulder tops or sleeveless tops.
Shirt/Blouse-Shirts and blouses must be “church appropriate”. No tube tops, belly shirts,
spaghetti straps, off-the-shoulder or sleeveless tops.
Pants/Shorts-Dress pants may be worn, but no denim. If dress shorts are worn, they must
come to the knee. If the pants or shorts have belt loops, belts must be worn.
Make-up/Jewelry-No excessive jewelry. Students in grades 6-8 may wear LIGHT make-up and nail polish. Students in grades K-5 are NOT to wear makeup or nail polish at any time.
THE DRESS-DOWN DRESS CODE
In General:
Shirts: Shirts are not to display any inappropriate words, sayings, or pictures. Boys may
NOT wear sleeveless shirts (health reasons). No tube tops, spaghetti straps, belly shirts or
off-the-shoulder shirts. Girls’ sleeveless shirts may not be any less than 2” in width across
the shoulder.
Pants/Shorts: Any type of pants may be worn; however, they may not sag excessively or
have “decorative” holes. If shorts are worn, they must reach the knee.
Shoes: No backless shoes or flip-flops allowed.
Jewelry and Make-up: Jewelry is to be kept to a minimum. Students in grades 6-8 may wear LIGHT make-up and nail polish. Students in grades K-5 are NOT to wear makeup or nail polish at any time.
